Description

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Salta and begin our journey to Santa Rosa de Tastil.

Our first stop is Campo Quijano, known as the 'door to the Andes.' As we proceed to Quebrada del Toro, we will travel along an impressive mountainous route, showcasing stunning views of colorful hills and cacti, perfect for photos.

Continuing our journey, we will pass the Tren a las Nubes viaduct before reaching Quebrada del Toro, where we will take in spectacular vistas of Salta. We will then descend to Santa Rosa de Tastil, home to a local indigenous community.

In this town, we will explore the Tastil ruins, a key archaeological site located 3,200 meters above the Calchaquíes Valleys. This site is noted as one of the largest pre-Columbian cities in Argentina. Visitors will have time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings before we have lunch at local restaurants and return to Salta, concluding the tour.
