Quebrada de Humahuaca Day Trip
Pick up will be between 6:30 am and 7:10 am from your hotel or a designated meeting point. The tour begins in the town of Purmamarca, followed by a visit to Cerro de los Siete Colores. The itinerary includes Maimará, where you can see the Paleta del Pintor. Next, proceed to Tilcara for a local anecdote. Attendees will visit the Iglesia de San Francisco de Paula in Uquía, observing the paintings of Harquebusier Angels. The route includes the Tropic of Capricorn leading to Humahuaca, the largest city in the gorge, for exploration of its historic centre and the Monument to the Heroes of Independence. Free time for lunch will be provided. The tour concludes with a return to Salta by approximately 7:30 pm.
Humahuaca + Hornocal Mountains Day Trip
This option includes an early morning pickup and a journey to Quebrada de Humahuaca. The first stop will be at Cerro de los Siete Colores, followed by a visit to Paleta del Pintor. After lunch in Humahuaca, participants will travel via 4x4 to the Hornocal Mountains, known for their colorful mineral layers. The day ends with a return to Salta around 7:30 pm.
