Ruta 40 Safari

We will meet in the center of Salta early in the morning and begin our safari along Argentina's 'Ruta 40'.

Our first stop is the Quebrada de Escoipe valley, where we will enjoy breakfast of coffee, tea, omelet, homemade bread, and jam. We then follow the road up the Cuesta del Obispo mountain to the Piedra del Molino viewpoint, at over 10,000 feet. Here you can take photographs of the panorama.

Next, we visit Los Cardones National Park to see a variety of cactus before heading west to the town of Cachi. En route, you'll see the snow-capped Nevado de Cachi mountain, rising more than 20,000 feet.

In Cachi, enjoy lunch with options like soup, empanadas, chicken, and pasta, followed by a regional dessert.

After lunch, we continue on Ruta 40 towards Seclantás, with two stops at small villages to admire the Quebrada de las Flechas gorge.

We then take a detour to Ruta 68, exploring the La Quebrada de las Conchas with its unique rock formations. The trip includes a stop at 'Garganta del Diablo' for tea and pastries.

We return to Salta at 9 pm.
