In this activity, we'll take you from Salta to San Lorenzo, where you'll enjoy a bike tour through beautiful natural areas such as the Arteaga Gorge or the Eastern Cordillera. You can choose the cycling route you like the most!

San Lorenzo Bike Tour

When you make your reservation, you'll have the option to choose between the following bike tours. All routes include pickup at the indicated time at your hotel in Salta, transportation to the activity location, an English–speaking guide, and bike + helmet rental.

Please note that half an hour of transport time needs to be added to the indicated tour duration, with a one-way trip from Salta taking 15 minutes, and the same for the return trip.

Arteaga Gorge Tour (2 hours)

We'll start this activity by traveling from Salta to the outskirts of San Lorenzo and begin our bicycle tour through the Arteaga Gorge.

We'll cross a water reserve with crystal clear streams, contributing to unique native vegetation. The landscape varies from a typical mountain forest to a transition jungle.

Departure times: every day at 10 am and 3 pm.

Potrero Grande Tour (3 hours)

This route takes place in the area of Potrero Grande, protected by the mountains of Salta.

During the bike tour, we'll see the biodiversity of Selva Montana, including walnut trees, matos, laurales, and horco molles, while enjoying the fragrances of bromeliads and orchids. Stops will be made to view pastures where Argentinean horses graze.

Departure times: every day at 10 am and 3 pm.

Uriburu and Cordillera Oriental Tour (7 hours)

This is the most technically difficult route, ideal for experienced cyclists. We'll start at Uriburu, located at the foot of the Eastern Cordillera, and ride along the mountain range surrounding San Lorenzo, before descending along the Astilleros ravine.

The route ascends to 2200 meters (7,220 feet) above sea level, with opportunities for breathtaking views and a picnic break before returning to the starting point and then to your hotel in Salta.

Departure time: every day at 10 am.
