Join us for a ride through the yungas forests surrounding the city of Salta on this horseback route through the San Lorenzo Natural Reserve. The perfect activity for nature lovers!

San Lorenzo Natural Reserve Horseback Riding

After picking you up at your hotel in Salta at your chosen time, we'll transfer you by minibus to a stable outside the city.

Upon arrival, we'll prepare the riding equipment and start our horseback ride through the yungas jungle of the San Lorenzo Natural Reserve, a key protected area in Salta province.

We'll navigate various trails in the reserve, adjusting our route based on your riding experience. During the ride, we'll discuss aspects of the local fauna in the San Lorenzo Gorge, an ecosystem rich in biodiversity, including species like wild cats, weasels, foxes, and others.

As we explore additional trails in the reserve, we'll appreciate the ravine and green jungle landscapes. This region is part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves.

Finally, we'll return to the stable, bid farewell to the horses, and take a minibus back to Salta. Arrival at your hotel is expected approximately four hours after pickup.

This activity includes pickup and return transfer to hotels in downtown Salta. For those in more remote locations, pickup will be at Calle Buenos Aires, 45.
