Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Desert Museum in Saltillo to begin our guided tour of this exhibition center, housing a collection of fossils, plants, and animals from the Mexican desert.
We will proceed to the Museum of Serape and Mexican Costumes, located in an 18th-century building, to explore the history and evolution of the serape, a traditional Mexican shawl.
Next, we'll visit the Birds of Mexico Museum, which features over 3000 examples of taxidermied birds, representing 73% of Mexico's species.
The final museum will be the Mexican Revolution Museum, divided into 6 themed wings showcasing the events of this armed conflict, offering insights into the nation's history.
To conclude the 5-hour tour, we'll undertake a guided tour of Saltillo's historical centre, where we'll admire the architecture and learn about the city's significance in Coahuila de Zaragoza.
