Join us on this day trip to Cachoeira to discover the rich history of the state of Bahia. We'll visit its colonial houses and emblematic places such as the Samba de Roda Museum.

Cachoeira Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Salvador to start our day trip to Cachoeira.

Our first stop will be the town of Santo Amaro, where we'll admire its church, market, and colonial mansions. We'll visit the Samba de Roda Museum, which commemorates Bahia's mix of music and dance.

Next, we will arrive at Cachoeira, a town declared a National Heritage Site, known for its historical and architectural essence, including the churches of the Third Order of Mount Carmel and Our Lady of the Rosary.

We will also visit the house of the Sisterhood of Our Lady of the Good Death, highlighting the importance of racial struggle in Brazil.

Our tour continues as we cross the Paraguaçu River to reach São Felix, where we will take a break for a typical lunch of the local cuisine.

After lunch, we will conclude our excursion at a Danneman cigar factory founded in the 19th century, to learn about traditional cigars.

We will conclude the tour at the starting point, 10 hours after it begins.
