Salvador da Bahia Historic Centre & Barra Lighthouse Tour

Between 6:30 and 8:00 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in central Salvador da Bahia. At 9 am, we'll set off on our tour of the historic centre of a city rich in cultural diversity.

The first stop will be the iconic lighthouse in the Barra neighbourhood, a popular site where the city's independence was declared.

Next, we'll visit Pelourinho, historically an upper-class residential area and a place of punishment for slaves during the colonial era. After the abolition of slavery, it evolved into a cultural hub for artists.

In the historic centre, we'll also see the Praça da Sé and the architectural ensemble of Terreiro de Jesus, established by the Jesuits. Additionally, we'll visit the Church of São Pedro dos Clérigos and the Church of São Domingos Gusmão. We will learn about their historic and cultural importance in Salvador da Bahia.

At 1 pm, we'll return to your hotel and conclude the tour.
