After hotel pickup, the tour begins at the Rio Vermelho promenade, visiting the sacred altar of the African deity Yemanja. Next, we stop at Dique do Tororó to photograph African monuments, then explore the Feira de São Joaquim market, known for its traditional stalls featuring scents and flavours of Africa. Participants will try the acarajé, a notable Brazilian dish.
Then, we will visit the Candomblé Sacred Temple to learn about the Ewé-fon African religion. The tour concludes with a lunch at a favela, featuring a choice of fish or prawn stew, beef fillet, or fried fish, served with rice, beans, and farofa. After lunch, participants are returned to their hotel.

This option begins in the Pelourinho neighbourhood, a World Heritage Site. The tour includes a visit to the Afro-Brazilian Museum and to the Ferroviario Neighbourhood to learn about descendants of slaves, followed by exploring the Feira de São Joaquim market. The itinerary includes a stop at the old slave market in Salvador and then the Candomblé Sacred Temple.
