Scuba Dive for Beginners

If you have never tried Scuba Diving, this basic initiation course is an ideal introduction. Participants will explore the ocean around Porto da Barra.

What to expect

The tour starts at a meeting point, followed by a trip to Porto da Barra beach, where we will board a boat to the high seas. Upon reaching the Santa Maria coral reef, a professional instructor will provide basic instructions to maximize safety during the dive.

Participants will be equipped with a wetsuit, flippers, goggles, and an oxygen tank. An initial practice session will take place in the water. Once fully prepared, the descent into the ocean will begin, reaching approximately 30 feet (10 meters) deep, with the underwater experience lasting around 40 to 50 minutes.

A souvenir photo of the dive will be provided after the activity.

Important information

Children under 10 years old and pregnant women cannot participate in this activity.Alcoholic drinks are not recommended 24 hours before the dive.After the activity, wait at least 12 hours before flying due to pressure changes.
