Scuba Dive for Beginners

If you have never tried Scuba Diving, but would love to find out what it's all about, then this basic initiation course is the perfect introduction for you. We will take you into the depths of the magical ocean that surrounds Porto da Barra.

What to expect

From the meeting point, we will head to the Porto da Barra beach, where we will board a boat to the high seas.

Upon arrival at the Santa Maria coral reef, you will discover a variety of marine life. A professional instructor will provide basic instructions to ensure a safe diving experience.

You will be equipped with a wetsuit, flippers, goggles, and an oxygen tank, followed by an initial practice session in the water. Once prepared, we will descend into the ocean to a depth of around 30 feet (10 meters) for approximately 40 to 50 minutes.

At the end of the activity, you will receive a souvenir photo of your dive.

Important information

Children under 10 years old and pregnant women cannot participate.Avoid alcohol consumption in the 24 hours before your dive.Wait at least 12 hours after the activity before flying due to pressure changes.
