Description

Key monuments included in the routes are the Mirabell Palace, the Fountain of the Horses, Salzburg Cathedral, Mozart Square, and the Church of the Holy Trinity. An audio guide in English provides facts about the main landmarks and places significant in the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Yellow line: Covers main city monuments and locations from the film The Sound of Music.Blue line: Includes a trip to Berchtesgaden, crossing the German border, and passes historic landmarks like Kehlsteinhaus, offering views of Salzach Valley and Berchtesgadener Land.

Please note that only the yellow line will be operating from October 1, 2024, to April 1, 2025 due to winter weather conditions.

How it works

Your ticket activates upon first access to the Salzburg tourist bus, allowing hop-on and hop-off for 24, 48, or 72 hours. The bus begins at Mirabellplatz but can be accessed at any designated stop.

Times & Frequency

The Yellow Line operates daily from 9:15 am to 3 pm every 45 minutes.The Blue Line operates daily from 9 am to 3 pm every 3 hours, with departures at 9 am, 12 pm, and 3 pm.
