Tour Details

Yellow line: Passes through major city monuments and locations from the film The Sound of Music.Blue line: Includes views of Salzburg and crosses into Germany to Berchtesgaden, featuring the Kehlsteinhaus and panoramic views of the Salzach Valley and the Berchtesgadener Land region.

Please note that only the yellow line will operate from October 1, 2024, to April 1, 2025, due to winter weather conditions.

How It Works

Your ticket activates upon first use of the Salzburg tourist bus service, allowing you to hop on and off for 24, 48, or 72 hours. The bus begins at Mirabellplatz, with access available at all designated stops.

Times & Frequency

The Yellow Line operates daily from 9:15 am to 3 pm with a frequency of every 45 minutes.The Blue Line operates daily from 9 am to 3 pm at intervals of 3 hours, departing only at 9 am, 12 pm, and 3 pm.

Audio Guide

The audio guide is available in 13 languages on the yellow line and in 7 languages on the blue line, including English. There is also a children’s channel in English.
