Hellbrunn Palace Boat Trip + Trick Fountains

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 1a on Franz-Josef-Kai Street in Salzburg, where we'll board a boat to embark on a special trip to Hellbrunn Palace.

We'll move south on the Salzach River and enjoy views of the old town from the boat. Upon disembarking, a historical English double-decker bus will take us to Hellbrunn Palace, a baroque 'villa' from the 19th century.

In the palace gardens, we'll experience the famous trick fountains: a collection of fountains, sculptures, caves, mechanical deer, and unique hydraulic machines designed to surprise guests. The prince-archbishop Markus Sittikus created this amusing circuit for entertainment.

Afterwards, you will enter the palace and explore the ballrooms while listening to an audio guide. Notable areas include the frescoes by Mascagni, the prince's chamber, and the music chamber.

Finally, after a ride of approximately 2.5 hours, we'll board a bus to return to the meeting point in Salzburg.
