Join us to discover the past and the charm of Mozart's city on this guided tour through Salzburg, a World Heritage Site.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 3 Rainerstraße. From there, we'll head to Kurgurten, a garden next to Mirabell Palace. We will explore the ornate gardens featuring mythological statues and scenes from the 60's musical film The Sound of Music. Following this, we'll walk along the Salzach River toward the old town, passing by Mozart's residence.

Nearby on Getreidegasse is Mozart's birthplace, now a museum, surrounded by historic facades. Our tour will continue to Kollegienkirche, designed by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach, notable for hosting operas since the 1970s.

Next, we will arrive at Residenzplatz to admire the Residenzbrunnen and Salzburg Cathedral, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was baptized. This church is one of the city's most significant buildings.

We will continue past the Mariensäule fountain to Domplatz and Kapitelplatz. At Kapitelplatz, admire the large gold sphere that contrasts with the historic setting.

Additionally, we will view the Kapitelschwemme, and from there, we’ll observe the Hohensalzburg Fortress, one of Central Europe's oldest fortresses. The tour concludes after 2 hours at this location.
