Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at Hubert-Sattler-Gasse 1 and leave Salzburg to drive to the Berchtesgaden salt mines.

On the way, we'll pass the Königseeache river and the Obersalzberg area. Upon arrival at the mine, we will put on our miner's costumes to enter this subway world.

As we walk through the tunnels, we will explain the mining process, daily life of the miners, and the risks they faced. During the tour, participants can slide down the mining slides.

To conclude the visit, we will board a wooden raft for a ride on a salt lake, traverse the subway labyrinths again on the mining train, and return to the surface.

Before heading back to Salzburg, we will stop in the village of Berchtesgaden, and then return to the starting point, concluding the tour after a total of 4 hours.
