Tour the Salzburg locations where the legendary musical The Sound of Music was filmed, immersing yourself once more in the story of the Von Trapp family and their nanny.

The Sound of Music Tour

The tour meets on Hubert-Sattler-Gasse street, starting with a visit to the Mirabell Gardens, where Maria teaches the children the song. The journey continues by bus to Leopoldskron Palace, notable for various film scenes. Next, we proceed to Hellbrunn Palace, where the song Sixteen Going on Seventeen and the kiss between Maria and Baron Von Trapp were filmed. We then stop at Nonnberg Abbey, a key location related to the Von Trapp family.

Leaving the historic center of Salzburg, we enjoy the landscapes of Lake Wolfgang and Lake Fuschl, which feature in the opening scenes of The Sound of Music. Finally, we visit the town of Mondsee to see the church where the wedding in the film took place. There will be no spoilers for those who have not yet seen the film.

The tour concludes as we return to Salzburg.
