Tour the Salzburg locations where the legendary musical The Sound of Music was filmed, immersing yourself once more in the story of the Von Trapp family and their nanny.

The Sound of Music Tour

The tour meets on Hubert-Sattler-Gasse street, where we'll begin our Sound of Music tour of Salzburg, visiting the Mirabell Gardens, the park where Maria teaches the children the famous song.

The route continues by bus to the Leopoldskron Palace, where numerous scenes from the film were shot.

Next, we head to Hellbrunn Palace, the filming location for the song Sixteen Going on Seventeen and the scene where Maria and Baron Von Trapp kiss. Following this, we will stop in front of Nonnberg Abbey, a monument linked with the Von Trapp family.

Then, we will enjoy the landscapes of Lake Wolfgang and Lake Fuschl, where the opening scenes were recorded.

To finish the tour, we will visit the town of Mondsee and the church that hosted the wedding in the film. Afterward, we will return to Salzburg, concluding the tour.
