Whale Watching + Cayo Levantado Day Trip

During the booking process, you can choose between the following options.

3.5-Hour Tour

If you want to focus solely on whale watching in this protected area, this is the ideal option. We will depart from Samaná port and observe these majestic animals in their natural habitat, spending 2 to 2.5 hours in the sanctuary. Note: this tour does not include food or a visit to Cayo Levantado.

7-Hour Tour

After gathering at Avenida La Marina in Samaná at the designated time, we will board a catamaran, don life jackets, and head out into the bay. During the trip, you will engage in whale watching, one of the highlights in the north of the Dominican Republic. We will anchor in the ocean and wait for the humpback whales to surface.

This region is ideal for this activity, as every year between January and March, approximately 3,000 humpback whales breed in these warm waters. After this, we will proceed to Cayo Levantado, where you will have free time to relax on the beach. Enjoy a buffet lunch on the beach before returning to the catamaran and concluding our journey after a total of 7 hours.
