Your journey begins with a hotel pickup at the scheduled time, leading you to the San Agustín Archaeological Park, renowned as the largest necropolis globally and considered one of Colombia's premier archaeological locations.

During this visit, we will explore the park's various highlights, commencing at the Luis Duque Gomez Museum. Here, you’ll encounter statues, tools, and pottery unearthed from the necropolis excavations.

Our next destination is the Bosque de las Estatuas, a remarkable gallery stretching 700 meters (2300 feet) that is flanked by ancient sculptures. We will proceed to Mesitas A, B, and C, where notable funerary monuments and tombs await discovery, alongside the iconic representations of the Eagle and Sun God.

Throughout this journey, we will also highlight the extensive knowledge of the indigenous San Agustín culture in terms of architecture, mathematics, astronomy, and their philosophical perspectives.

The tour continues to the Lavapatas fountain, an impressive feat of hydraulic engineering where we will uncover its significance and functionality. Following this, we will explore the Alto de Lavapatas, an area where a dwelling with a hearth and human remains from 3300 BC was discovered, as well as intriguing stone mounds that hold cultural importance for the San Agustín community.
