Day Trip to the Cays of San Andrés
Your journey begins at the Muelle Casa de la Cultura, where we will set out to uncover the natural wonders of the San Andrés archipelago. Are you ready to immerse yourself in these idyllic locations?
From the port, we will board a motorboat and cruise towards the cays of San Andrés, as well as other remarkable sites in the vicinity.
Our first destination will be Islote Sucre, commonly referred to as Johnny Cay, situated to the north of San Andrés. Here, you'll find yourself in a tropical paradise of swaying palm trees and pristine white sands, giving you 3 hours of leisure time to swim in the turquoise waters and indulge in the local delicacies.
Next, we will navigate towards Cayo Acuario, a vast sandbank celebrated for its rich marine life, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling enthusiasts!
After spending 3 hours at Cayo Acuario, we will enjoy a brief 10-minute scenic boat ride through the mangroves of Old Point, a unique ecosystem that defines this coastal region of Colombia. Following this, we will glide across the bay of San Andrés, feeling the refreshing Caribbean breeze while taking in breathtaking views of the archipelago.
In conclusion, we will return to the port and make our way back to shore, arriving at the Casa de la Cultura pier approximately 6 hours later.
