Tour Overview
We will convene at the designated time at the Hotel Sol Caribe Seaflower, where we will board a chiva rumbera, a traditional Colombian bus that embodies the spirit of celebration as we cruise around San Andrés!
As we travel aboard the chiva, we’ll marvel at the island’s breathtaking landscapes, accompanied by the sounds of Caribbean music. Our journey begins at the Islander House Museum, which highlights the cultural heritage and traditions of the local inhabitants. This stop provides an excellent opportunity to appreciate the history of this enchanting Caribbean destination.
Following our museum visit, we’ll proceed to the Persistence Museum and then to the West View Pool, a natural eco-park where you can take a refreshing dip in its pristine waters.
Next, we’ll head to the Hoyo Soplador! Here, expect to experience nature’s spectacle as waves crash against the rocks. During high tide, water shoots dramatically from openings in the cliff—a breathtaking phenomenon not to be missed.
At the end of this remarkable day spent uncovering the wonders of San Andrés on the chiva rumbera, we will head back to our original meeting point, concluding our adventure after approximately four hours.
Changes in Itinerary
For those who select the morning tour, the itinerary will vary slightly. We will visit the Casa Museo Isleña, the Hoyo Soplador (a spectacular sea geyser), and the West View pool instead.
