Discover one of the most traditional trades in San Andres. You'll weave handicrafts out of coconut palm and enjoy views of the Caribbean Sea.

San Andres Handicrafts Workshop

We'll meet at the arranged time and head to the San Luis neighbourhood that overlooks the Caribbean Sea. Upon arrival, you'll meet the expert artisans of San Andres who will teach you how to weave coconut palm and bend it into different shapes.

You will spend an hour learning and practicing this traditional island weaving technique in a picturesque tropical setting. At the end of the experience, you will take home various crafted items such as hats, baskets, birds, roses, and fish.

After the crafts activity, there will be a fifteen-minute break to enjoy a natural juice and a typical empanada. The experience includes a dip in the turquoise Caribbean Sea before concluding.

At the end of the activity, you will be returned to the meeting point.
