Discover one of the most traditional trades in San Andres by weaving handicrafts from coconut palm with views of the Caribbean Sea.

San Andres Handicrafts Workshop

We will gather at the designated time and proceed to the San Luis neighborhood. Upon arrival, you will meet local expert artisans who will instruct you on weaving coconut palm into various shapes.

Participants will engage in an hour of learning and practicing this traditional island weaving technique. By the end, you can take home crafted items such as hats, baskets, birds, roses, and fish.

A fifteen-minute break will follow the crafts activity, allowing you to enjoy a natural juice and a typical empanada, concluding with a swim in the turquoise Caribbean Sea.

After the activity, participants will be returned to the meeting point.
