With this kayak tour through the mangroves of San Andrés, we'll explore the marine fauna and flora of this island in the Colombian Caribbean.

San Andrés Mangroves Kayak Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel at 9 am and head towards the mangrove area of San Andrés to start the kayak tour.

For two hours, we'll navigate through streams full of mangroves and observe their role as a refuge for various species. These plants are resilient to salt due to glands that expel excess salt.

Paddling, we'll encounter up to three types of mangroves: red, white, and black. The island is also home to the boa constrictor and various iguanas;

During the tour, you'll also have the opportunity to wear snorkeling gear and explore the water for clams, worms, anemone snails, lobsters, and sea cucumbers. This area is known for its rich marine biodiversity.

Finally, at 11 am, we'll conclude the activity at the San Andrés Yacht Club.
