In this tour, you'll learn all about Gaucho customs in San Antonio de Areco, a town in Argentina essential for understanding the country's culture.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the agreed location and begin a day focused on Gaucho culture in San Antonio de Areco, the birthplace of the first Argentine Gauchos. We will start with a guided tour around the town to explore its colonial architecture and artisan workshops, including visits to the San Antonio de Padua church and notable workshops of silversmiths and saddlers.
Next, we will head to the Estancia El Ombú de Areco for an authentic Gaucho experience. We will meet the resident Gauchos and enjoy a full lunch featuring empanadillas, roasted meats, and typical desserts.
After lunch, you can enjoy a horse or carriage ride across 300 hectares (741 acres) of rural Argentina, observing cows, sheep, horses, and diverse birdlife. The tour will continue with classical guitar music and folk dancing, along with equestrian shows featuring Indian dressage and the Troop. The tour lasts for 10 hours.
