2, 3, or 4-Night Stay at Cuyabeno Reserve

During your trip to Ecuador, visit the Cuyabeno Reserve to explore the Ecuadorian Amazon's biodiversity.

What to Expect

We'll pick you up by bus from the meeting point in Quito at 11 pm – 11:30 pm for an overnight journey to Cuyabeno Bridge, the starting point for our Amazon adventure.

Day 1

After reaching Cuyabeno Bridge, we'll canoe along the Cuyabeno River to the Dolphin Lodge, arriving for lunch after 2 hours of canoeing. The afternoon includes a hike around Laguna Grande for sunset viewing before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 2

We start with breakfast at the lodge, followed by a 3-hour hike discussing local wildlife. After lunch, enjoy 4 hours of free time in the reserve before canoeing to spot various fauna and an evening walk to observe nocturnal animals, returning to camp for dinner.

Day 3

Engage in a birdwatching activity near the lodge before heading back by canoe to Cuyabeno Bridge. Board the bus to the meeting point in Quito, with an arrival between 8 pm and 9 pm.

Excursion with 3 Nights of Accommodation

This tour includes 3 nights of accommodation. The first two days follow the same itinerary. On the third day, enjoy a 1-hour walk to an indigenous community for lunch and a visit to the community's shaman before departing the next day.

Excursion with 4 Nights of Accommodation

This option includes 4 nights of accommodation. The same itinerary is followed, with an additional canoe activity to Canangueno on the fifth day and sunset views from Laguna Grande.

Accommodation

The tour includes 2, 3, or 4 nights of accommodation with full room and board at the Dolphin Lodge. The first night is spent on the bus.
