Explore one of the most amazing landscapes of Ecuador's Amazon rainforest on this excursion to Cayambe Coca National Park and the Tayos Caves.

Cayambe Coca National Park & Tayos Caves Excursion

The trip begins at 5 am with hotel pickup in Quito, followed by a drive to Baeza, where a typical breakfast will be served with views of the tropical rainforest.

We will then walk to the waterfall of the Cayambe Coca National Park, which stands 50 meters tall, and take in the surrounding landscape.

Next, we will visit the viewpoint at the Coca Codo Sinclair hydroelectric plant, followed by a stop for a typical Amazon lunch with views of the jungle.

After lunch, we will trek through streams to the Cueva de los Tayos (Tayos Caves), notable for its unique natural formations and as the habitat of the tayos bird.

Following our exploration of the Ecuadorian Amazon, we will begin the return journey to the hotels, arriving around 8 pm.
