Explore one of the most amazing landscapes of Ecuador's Amazon rainforest on this excursion to Cayambe Coca National Park and the Tayos Caves.

Cayambe Coca National Park & Tayos Caves Excursion

We will pick you up at your hotel in Quito at 5 am and travel to Baeza, the first stop for a typical breakfast with panoramic views of the rainforest.

After breakfast, we will walk to the magical waterfall of the Cayambe Coca National Park, which stands 50 meters tall amidst stunning scenery.

The excursion continues with a visit to the viewpoint at the Coca Codo Sinclair hydroelectric plant. On the way to the Tayos Caves, we will have a typical lunch of the Amazon region with views of the jungle.

Post-lunch, we will walk through several streams to reach the Cueva de los Tayos (Tayos Caves), known for its natural formation and the tayos birds that inhabit the area.

After exploring the magical landscapes of the Ecuadorian Amazon, we will begin our return journey, arriving at the hotels around 8 pm.
