Experience the Middle of the World with a day trip to the Intiñán Solar Museum, featuring diverse experiments, centuries-old huts, and a totemic forest.
Tour Details
Meet at your selected point and proceed to the Intiñán Solar Museum, notable for its exhibitions in the Ecuadorian capital. Here, at the Museum of Equinoctial Solar Culture, witness the reality of being at the Middle of the World through experiments, games, and historical artifacts reflecting ancient civilizations of South America.
Explore hundreds-of-years-old huts featuring recreations of traditional objects and gain insights into the daily life of people from thousands of years ago. The visit also includes the museum's totemic forest.
Activities include balancing eggs on your head and other experiments that demonstrate Quito's unique geography, confirming Ecuador is at Latitude Zero.
The tour concludes with a visit to Quito's primary monument, the Mitad del Mundo, where the exterior of this significant complex can be explored before finishing the tour.
