Intiñán Solar Museum Day Trip

Experience the Middle of the World and enjoy different experiments with this day trip to the Intiñán Solar Museum. You'll visit centuries-old huts and a totemic forest!

Tour Details

We'll meet up at the appointed time at your selected meeting point and set off toward the Intiñán Solar Museum, known as the Museum of Equinoctial Solar Culture. This museum allows you to witness that we are in the Middle of the World through experiments, games, and historical objects.

During the visit to the Intiñán Solar Museum, we will enter several hundred-year-old huts that recreate daily life from thousands of years ago and explore the museum's totemic forest.

To demonstrate Ecuador's Location at Latitude Zero, participants will engage in activities like balancing eggs and utilizing nails. After this visit, we will proceed to Quito's emblematic monument, the Mitad del Mundo, before concluding the tour.

This tour includes pickup and drop–off at the following hotels in Quito: Hilton Colon, Mercure Alameda, Reina Isabel, Rio Amazonas, Un House, Swissotel, NH Collection, KAIA, Holiday Inn, J-W. Marriott, Wyndham Garden, Dann Carlton, Le Parc, and Sheraton. If you aren't staying at these hotels, we'll meet at the JW Marriott Hotel at 2 pm.
