Experience the Middle of the World and enjoy different experiments with this day trip to the Intiñán Solar Museum. You'll visit centuries-old huts and a totemic forest!
Tour Details
We'll meet up at the agreed time at your selected meeting point and set off toward the Intiñán Solar Museum, one of the notable exhibitions in the Ecuadorian capital.
This site, known as the Museum of Equinoctial Solar Culture, provides an opportunity to witness that we are in the Middle of the World. Through experiments, games, and displays, you'll learn about the civilizations that inhabited this part of South America millions of years ago.
During the visit, we'll enter centuries-old huts that highlight traditional objects and explore daily life from thousands of years ago. The museum's totemic forest is also included.
To demonstrate that Ecuador is at Latitude Zero, we'll engage in activities like balancing eggs and conducting experiments that work uniquely in Quito.
We'll conclude the tour at the iconic Mitad del Mundo, taking photos and exploring the exterior of this prominent complex.
