Join us for a day trip to Otavalo from Quito and explore the indigenous market and local cuisine!

Otavalo Day Trip

After meeting in Quito, we will depart north on the Pan-American Highway towards Cayambe, an Andean province. A stop will be made to taste traditional bizcocho de Cayambe, pastries with cheese or dulce de leche.

Next, we will visit the "Miralago" viewpoint for panoramic views of San Pablo Lake, Imbabura volcano, and surrounding villages. The journey will continue to Otavalo, known for its indigenous market.

We will then head to the Peguche Waterfall to appreciate its landscapes, followed by a visit to the Ñanda Mañachi Cultural Center to learn about local artists.

Finally, we will explore the Otavalo market and enjoy a lunch in the area. We expect to return to Quito approximately 8 hours after pickup.

Pickup will occur between 7 and 7:45 am from hotels in La Carolina, La Mariscal, and the historic center of Quito.
