Otavalo Day Trip

After meeting in Quito, we'll depart and travel north on the Pan-American Highway to Cayambe. En route, we will stop to taste traditional Ecuadorian bizcocho de Cayambe, wood-oven baked pastries served with cheese or dulce de leche.

Next, we will visit the "Miralago" viewpoint for panoramic views of San Pablo Lake, the Imbabura volcano, and nearby villages. Then, the tour proceeds to Otavalo, known for its indigenous market.

We will continue to the Peguche Waterfall to appreciate the landscape before proceeding to the Ñanda Mañachi Cultural Center, where we will learn about local artists.

Finally, we will explore the Otavalo market and enjoy a delicious lunch in the area. We will return to Quito with an expected arrival 8 hours after pickup.
