Tour Details
We will meet at your selected point in Quito to begin the tour of the Andean communities of Quilotoa.
Our first destination is the Tigua region, known for its small farming communities. Here, we will witness the artistic talents of the residents, particularly those creating paintings on sheepskin.
Next, we will visit the community of Zumbahua, which offers stunning views of the Toachi river canyon, formed by an ancient geological fault.
Our final stop will be the community of Quilotoa, home to the breathtaking Quilotoa lagoon. Renowned for its emerald green waters, we will embark on a 45-minute hike to the lagoon. At the lagoon, you can unwind or rent a kayak to explore further.
Afterward, we will enjoy a delicious lunch that includes a starter, main course, and dessert. You will have free time to enjoy Quilotoa and its lagoon before we conclude our 11-hour tour by returning to Quito.
