Quito Botanical Garden + Cruz Loma Tour

Description

We will pick you up from your chosen meeting point and head to the western mountain range of the Pichinchas at an altitude of 2,850 meters. Upon arrival, tickets will be purchased for the Quito cable car. After a 10-minute ride, we will reach Cruz Loma station, nearly 4,000 meters above sea level.

From this height, expect views of Quito and, weather permitting, the surrounding volcanoes such as Cayambe, Antisana, Sincholagua, Cotopaxi, and Atacazo. At the summit, enjoy one hour of free time to explore and try the Cruz Loma swing.

Next, we will visit Quito's Botanical Garden to discover a variety of plants and discuss conservation efforts for endangered species.

Depending on the group’s pace, we may also stop at the Guayasamin Museum, known as La Capilla del Hombre, a cultural center highlighting Latin American history and human rights. The museum's impact is significant.

After our visits, we will return to where our 4-hour tour concludes.
