Quito Botanical Garden + Cruz Loma Tour

Marvel at the views from the Cruz Loma cable car and explore the fascinating Botanical Garden on this tour of Quito: two for the price of one!

Description

At the designated time we'll pick you up from your meeting point of choice and we'll make our way to the western mountain range of the Pichinchas at an altitude of 2,850 meters. The landscape will be impressive.

We will buy tickets to take the Quito cable car. After a 10-minute journey, we will arrive at Cruz Loma station, almost 4,000 meters above sea level.

From this altitude, you'll have access to views of Quito and, weather permitting, you may see surrounding volcanoes, including Cayambe, Antisana, Sincholagua, Cotopaxi, and Atacazo. At the summit, you'll have one hour of free time for exploration and to try the Cruz Loma swing.

Next, we will visit Quito's Botanical Garden to discover various plants and discuss conservation efforts for endangered species.

Depending on the group's pace, we will stop at the Guayasamin Museum, also known as La Capilla del Hombre. This cultural center focuses on human identity and invites reflection on Latin American history.

After our visits, we will return to the starting point, concluding our 4-hour tour.
