Quito Market & Guayasamín House & Museum Tour

At the agreed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the centre of Quito and set off to one of the city's traditional markets.

As you enter, you'll see a flower stall featuring the "best roses in the world", known for lasting up to 20 days after being picked. We will also find various fruits like papayas, custard apples, limes, and passion fruit available for tasting.

We will observe the typical food area and 'limpias', a traditional practice of spiritual healings using plants. We will also visit the fine aroma cocoa section to learn about its production and benefits.

Afterward, we will travel to the bohemian neighbourhood of Guápulo to view the Pichincha volcano and Pasochoa from a viewpoint. The tour includes a visit to the Guayasamín House Museum, focusing on the themes of poverty, the Mexican Revolution, the crisis, and the Spanish Civil War in his work.

After four hours, we will return to your hotel.
