At the agreed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in central Quito and head to a traditional market. Upon entry, you'll encounter a flower stall known for the "best roses in the world", which remain fresh for up to 20 days after being picked. Additionally, you'll find a variety of juicy fruits such as papayas, custard apples, limes, and passion fruit to taste.

We will explore the typical food area and observe the 'limpias', a traditional practice of spiritual healings using local plants. The fine aroma cocoa area will also be visited to discuss its production and benefits.

Next, we'll travel to the bohemian neighbourhood of Guápulo for views of the Pichincha volcano and Pasochoa. The tour concludes at the Guayasamín House Museum, featuring the artist's work on themes like poverty, the Mexican Revolution, and the Spanish Civil War.

After four hours, we will return you to your hotel.
