During your reservation, you can select from 2 options, both with an English-speaking guide, including tastings. Each option lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours. The options are:
Pearl District food tour
This tour starts at Pearl Parkway, exploring the historic Pearl District. Participants will visit unique restaurants and beer houses from the 19th century, including the Boiler House for traditional Tex-Mex dishes. The tour also includes The Larder for gourmet products, a stroll around the Hotel Emma, and walking along the San Antonio River, finishing at a bar in a vintage train wagon for ice cream.
Central San Antonio food tour
This option allows you to explore San Antonio's history through its food. Starting at Alamo Plaza, participants will visit local bars to taste Tex-Mex cuisine. The tour covers the Alamo Mission, a restaurant for BBQ tacos and Big Red, The Esquire Tavern, and features an ice cream famously liked by Bill Clinton.
