Discover the major Texan city's secrets with this San Antonio History Tour. You'll explore the centre, learn about the Hispanic heritage, and see the Missions National Historical Park.

Description

When booking, you'll choose between three different tour itineraries, which include pickup and drop-off at your hotel, an English-speaking guide, and a duration of 4 to 8 hours. Below are the details of each option:

Downtown San Antonio tour

This tour of old San Antonio begins at HemisFair Park, a landmark from the 1968 World's Fair. Next, visit the Briscoe Western Museum of Art. The tour continues to Saint Paul's Square and the historic Buckhorn Saloon. You'll admire the 18th-century San Fernando Cathedral and the Spanish Governor's Palace before concluding at El Mercado, the largest Mexican market in the U.S., after four hours of exploration.

San Antonio River Lock, Japanese Garden, & Missions National Park tour

This tour starts at 1 pm with a pickup from your hotel. You'll first visit the San Antonio River Lock and then explore the Museum Reach for photo opportunities. Next, visit the Japanese Tea Garden with its koi ponds and tea house, followed by the Misiones National Historical Park, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring the Mission of the Conception and the Alamo. The tour lasts four hours.
