Discover the major Texan city's secrets with this San Antonio History Tour. You'll explore the center, learn about the Hispanic heritage and see the Missions National Historical Park.

Description

When booking, choose between three different tour itineraries. All options include pickup and drop-off at your hotel, an English-speaking guide, and a duration between 4 and 8 hours. Details of each option are as follows:

Downtown San Antonio tour

Experience old San Antonio on this tour. The journey begins at HemisFair Park, built for the 1968 World's Fair. Next, visit the Briscoe Western Museum of Art. The tour continues to Saint Paul's Square and the historic Buckhorn Saloon. You'll also see the 18th-century San Fernando Cathedral and conclude at the Plaza de Armas, visiting the Spanish Governor's Palace. Finally, explore El Mercado, the largest Mexican market in the U.S., before returning to your hotel after four hours.

San Antonio River Lock, Japanese Garden, & Missions National Park tour

This tour starts at 1 pm with hotel pickup. The first stop is the San Antonio River Lock, followed by a tour of the Museum Reach. Next, explore the Japanese Tea Garden, featuring koi ponds and a tea house. The journey continues to the Missions National Historical Park, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including visits to the Mission of the Conception and the Alamo. The tour lasts four hours, concluding with a hotel drop-off.

Combo tour

If undecided, the all-inclusive tour combines highlights from both previous options. It begins at 9 am with hotel pickup, culminating in eight hours of exploration, providing insight into the city's history and culture.
