Experience the best of what San Antonio has to offer on this small group tour. We'll explore the Alamo, admire the city's skyline, examine the Spanish colonial missions, and enjoy views from a river cruise and from the top of the Tower of the Americas.
Tour Details
On the day of the activity, pickup will be from your hotel in downtown San Antonio at the indicated time.
The tour begins with a visit to the Alamo, where a guided tour will cover the story of the 1836 Battle of the Alamo, including visits to its fortifications and gardens.
As we continue, we will drive past multiple points of interest with explanations from our guide.
Next, we will explore San Antonio’s history at Mission San Jose, the largest of the city's Spanish Colonial Missions. Known as the “Queen of the Missions,” it showcases impressive stone walls and a granary.
The tour includes an elevator ride up 190 m (623 ft) to the Tower of the Americas for panoramic views of San Antonio, the tallest observation deck in Texas.
We'll then enjoy a 35-minute River Walk cruise, where we will learn about the city's culture, history, and architecture, passing notable sites such as La Villita, Old Mill Crossing, and Selena’s Bridge.
After four hours, we'll return to your downtown hotel.
