Description

At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Antonio, from where we'll head north, straight to the heart of Texas Hill Country.

Our first stop will be in Johnson City, at the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park Visitor Centre, which highlights the story of the 36th President of the United States and his wife Lady Bird.

Next, we will visit the LBJ ranch in Stonewall, located next to the Pedernales River. We'll discuss the impact of German immigrants from 1840 and 1850 and present farming trucks used in the Great Trail Texas along with insights into denim jeans from this period.

Afterwards, we'll proceed to Fredericksburg, one of the three wine-growing areas in Texas. You will have 2 hours of free time to eat and explore this small town, with suggestions to try local wine and browse local boutiques and galleries.

Before concluding, we'll explore the towns of Luckenbach, Sisterdale, and Sister Creek Winery, starting our return journey to San Antonio after an 8-hour tour.
