Enter the Wild West, enjoy its countryside and explore the historic Fredericksburg on this Texas Hill Country tour.

Description

At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Antonio and head north to the heart of Texas Hill Country.

Our first stop will be in Johnson City, at the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park Visitor Centre, where we will share the history of the 36th President of the United States and his wife Lady Bird.

Next, we will visit the LBJ ranch in Stonewall, near the Pedernales River. We will discuss the influence of German immigrants from 1840 and 1850 in this region. Additionally, fans of the wild west will see farming trucks used in the Great Trail Texas era and learn about the history of denim jeans.

We will then proceed to Fredericksburg, one of Texas's three wine-growing areas, where you will have 2 hours of free time to eat and explore. Local wines, boutiques, and galleries are recommended.

We will conclude with visits to the towns of Luckenbach, Sisterdale, and Sister Creek Winery before starting our return journey to San Antonio after an 8-hour tour.
