Between 4:30 and 5 am, pick-up from your hotel in Quito will commence, leading to the Gran Cañón de Cotundo. The drive will last approximately 3 and a half hours, showcasing the region's lush vegetation.

En route, there will be a stop in the colonial town of Baeza for an hour of free time for breakfast and exploration. Arrival at Cotundo is scheduled for 9:30 am, where you will engage in rainforest activities, listening to birds and observing diverse flora and fauna.

A half-mile trek will guide you up the mountain towards the Gran Cañón, shaped by river erosion over millennia, resulting in stunning waterfalls. After 3 hours at the site, lunch will be served at around 2 pm, near caves historically used for sacred rituals.

The journey includes hiking and river crossings leading to cave interiors. Relax in natural pools and jacuzzis while viewing ancient geological formations for one hour.

The cave tour concludes around 4:30 pm, followed by the return to Quito, with arrival at your hotel expected by 8 pm.
