Arco del Coronadero Hiking

At 9:15 am, we'll meet at Avenida de la Unión Europea in San Bartolomé de Tirajana. From here, we'll set off on a 7 km trekking route through the deep ravines of southern Gran Canaria to the Arco del Coronadero.

We'll walk along the paths of the Amurga Massif, admiring various cacti and spotting ruins of pre-Hispanic settlements. We'll learn about the island's indigenous inhabitants as we pass ancient caves and temples.

Crossing desert landscapes and walking alongside the steep stone walls of the Barranco Hondo, we will reach the Arco del Coronadero, a significant natural rock formation. We will explore its origin and take photos.

After exploring the natural arch, we'll begin our return journey, finishing the hiking route at 2 pm back at the starting point in San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
