Full-Day Excursion to Tikal

Upon your hotel pickup in Flores, we will embark on a bus journey towards Tikal National Park, renowned as the most significant Maya archaeological site in Guatemala, situated roughly an hour away.

As you step into Tikal National Park, the significance of this site will strike you immediately. A deep immersion in Maya culture awaits as we explore this vast complex, which features more than 3,000 structures uncovered by archaeologists… and many more yet to be revealed.

Guided by our knowledgeable expert in Maya history, you’ll delve into the stories of this ancient civilization that thrived in Mesoamerica. Central to Maya life was their religion, clearly illustrated by the spectacular temples on site, including the Temple of the Masks, the Temple of the Great Jaguar, the Temple of the Jaguar Priest, and the prominent Temple IV, the tallest structure at Tikal.

During our time in the park, we'll also enjoy a meal featuring vegetable soup as a starter, followed by a choice of chicken, beef, or pork for the main course, served with rice or vegetables (vegetarian options available). You will also receive a refreshing drink. Afterward, you'll have free time to further explore this monumental Maya city at your own pace.

After absorbing the wonders of these remarkable Maya ruins, we will return by bus to your hotel in Flores, concluding our tour.

Sunrise Tour: This option begins at 3 am, allowing us to reach the ruins just in time for dawn. Breakfast will be provided instead of lunch.Morning Tour: Commencing at 8 am, this option includes lunch during the visit.Sunset Tour: For this choice, pickup will be at 11:30 am to arrive at Tikal for sunset viewing. This option also includes lunch.
