Explore vestiges of the Maya civilization with this day trip to Tikal National Park from Flores. The impressive temples that stand in the middle of the Guatemalan jungle will leave you speechless!

Day Trip to Tikal

After picking you up at your hotel in Flores, we'll start our bus ride to Tikal National Park, located about an hour away. You'll be immersed into Maya culture as we enter this complex, which houses approximately 3,000 structures excavated by archaeologists.

Accompanied by our expert guide, you'll learn the history of this ancient civilization. Important sites include the Temple of the Masks, Temple of the Great Jaguar, Temple of the Jaguar Priest, and the iconic Temple IV, the tallest temple in Tikal.

While inside the park, we'll enjoy a meal consisting of vegetable soup as a first course, and chicken, beef, or pork with rice or vegetables as a second course (vegetarian menus available). You'll also receive one refreshing drink, followed by free time to explore further before returning to Flores.
