Yaxhá Day Trip
At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Flores and head to the Mayan city of Yaxhá, located in the jungle of the Guatemalan Petén.
After approximately 1.5 hours of driving, we will enter the Mayan ruins to explore one of the largest urban centres of this ancient civilization. Along the journey, we will learn about key legends associated with the archaeological site.
We will visit the Minor Astronomical Complex, the Temple of the Red Hand, the Twin Pyramids, the Acropolis, and the Plaza of the Columns, among other significant sites in the area.
After the Yaxhá tour, you can enjoy the food you brought. Subsequently, we will go to a location in Yaxhá to witness a sunset, completing the tour.
We will conclude our day trip to Yaxhá by returning to your hotel in Flores, wrapping up this 6-hour journey.
