Yaxhá Day Trip
We will begin by picking you up at your hotel in Flores and travel to the Mayan city of Yaxhá, situated in the jungle of the Guatemalan Petén.
Following a 1.5-hour drive, we will arrive at the Mayan ruins, where we will learn about one of the largest urban centres of this ancient civilisation and uncover some of the main legends associated with the site.
During the visit, we will explore the Minor Astronomical Complex, the Temple of the Red Hand, the Twin Pyramids, the Acropolis, and the Plaza of the Columns, among other significant attractions.
After touring Yaxhá, you can enjoy the food you brought. Subsequently, we will locate a viewpoint in Yaxhá for a spectacular sunset, wrapping up the tour.
We will conclude our day trip by returning to your hotel in Flores, with a total duration of 6 hours.
