On this day trip to the archaeological complex of Yaxhá from Flores, we will explore the Mayan culture by visiting temples in the Guatemalan jungle and enjoy a sunset.

Yaxhá Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up at your hotel and travel to the Mayan city of Yaxhá, located in the jungle of the Guatemalan Petén.

After approximately a 1.5-hour drive, we will enter the Mayan ruins and discover one of the largest urban centers of this ancient civilization, learning about some main legends of the site.

We will visit the Minor Astronomical Complex, the Temple of the Red Hand, the Twin Pyramids, the Acropolis, and the Plaza of the Columns, among other significant sites.

After touring Yaxhá, you can eat the food you brought. Following this, we will head to a location in Yaxhá to watch a sunset, the highlight of the tour.

We will conclude our Yaxhá day trip by returning you to your hotel, finishing this 6-hour experience.
