On this day trip to the archaeological complex of Yaxhá from Flores, we'll explore the Mayan culture by visiting a group of temples in the Guatemalan jungle and enjoy a sunset.
Yaxhá Day Trip
At the specified time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Flores and head to the Mayan city of Yaxhá in the Guatemalan Petén jungle.
After approximately a 1.5-hour drive, we'll enter the Mayan ruins and discover one of the largest urban centers of this ancient civilization while learning about key legends of the site.
We will visit the Minor Astronomical Complex, the Temple of the Red Hand, the Twin Pyramids, the Acropolis, and the Plaza of the Columns, among other significant sites.
After the tour of Yaxhá, participants can enjoy food brought along. We will then proceed to a location in Yaxhá to watch the sunset, which will conclude our tour.
We'll finish our day trip to Yaxhá by returning to your hotel in Flores, completing this 6-hour experience.
