Meet at the Tourist Information Office in Civic Center Square to begin our mountain adventure from Bariloche.
The activity starts with a stroll through Bariloche's German Quarter, followed by an uphill hike along the slopes of Cerro Otto into the Patagonian Forest. This hike offers views of surrounding mountains and lakes.
As we hike for approximately two hours, covering about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles), we will discuss the trails taken by Otto Meiling. We will reach the Berghof refuge, originally his residence and the first ski center in South America.
