Anaga Rural Park Hike
The hike departs from the Visitors Centre next to the Cruz del Carmen Hermitage. It is a three-hour easy hike through the Anaga Rural Park, which is a designated Nature Reserve since 2015 and one of the most remarkable areas in the Canary Islands, rich in diverse plants and wildlife.
Participants will explore the famous laurel forests within the Anaga mountain range. A local guide will provide informative insights about various plant species encountered during the hike. This area boasts the highest number of native species in Europe.
After experiencing the impressive variety of plants and wildlife in Anaga, the group will return to the meeting point to conclude the hike.
Children under 5 years old
Children under 5 years old can join the route if accompanied by parents or guardians; however, it is not recommended for them. Children under 2 years can also participate but must be carried in a baby carrier.
