Anaga Rural Park Hike

Get lost in the beautiful laurel forests of north Tenerife with this guided hike through the Anaga Rural Park.

Activity Details

Our hike will depart from the Visitors Centre adjacent to the Cruz del Carmen Hermitage.

We will embark on a three-hour easy hike through Anaga Rural Park, a designated Nature Reserve since 2015, known for its diverse plants and wildlife.

The hike will take us through the laurel forests of the Anaga mountain range, led by a local guide, who will share insightful information about the native plant species encountered. Anaga hosts the highest number of native species in Europe.

After three hours of exploring the plants and wildlife in Anaga, we will return to the meeting point to conclude the hike.

Tour + Pickup

If you choose this option, transportation is available from:

Puerto de la Cruz (taxi stand in Plaza del Charco) one hour before the activity starts.Garachico (Plaza de la Libertad) one and a half hours before the activity starts.

This transportation option is available only on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Children Under 5 Years Old

While children can join accompanied by parents or guardians, the activity isn't recommended for children under 5 years. Children under 2 years may attend but must be carried in a baby carrier.
