Learn the secrets of coleta cuisine, which combines pre-Hispanic and Spanish gastronomy. With this cooking class, you'll become an expert chef in this variation of Mexican gastronomy.

Coleta Cooking Class

After meeting in the Al Grano cafeteria, we will learn about the cuisine of this Mexican municipality from an expert chef. Firstly, we will explore how this cuisine combines two gastronomic cultures: pre-Hispanic and Spanish.

Participants will learn to use ingredients from ancient Mayan, colonial, and contemporary dishes. Some of the dishes prepared will include bread soup, tacos coletos, chalupas, chanfaina, and banana cake, among others.

At the end of the cooking class, there will be an opportunity to taste the elaborated dishes.

Menus

Depending on the day of the activity, there will be two types of menus available:

Menu 1 (available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday):
