Coleta Cooking Class
Our journey begins at the Al Grano cafeteria, where a professional chef will guide us through the rich culinary heritage of this Mexican region. Initially, we'll delve into the essence of the cuisine, showcasing the harmonious blend between two pivotal gastronomic traditions: pre-Hispanic and Spanish.
Participants will learn to utilize ingredients that reflect the richness of ancient Mayan, colonial, and modern recipes. Some of the delectable dishes we will prepare include bread soup, tacos coletos, chalupas, chanfaina, and banana cake, among various other specialties.
To conclude our culinary adventure, a tasting session of the dishes we created will be held, providing a delightful experience for all.
