Chianti Wine Tour

On our Chianti Wine Tour from San Gimignano, we will explore the Chianti Valley. After picking you up at Porta San Giovanni, we will board a minibus and begin the tour.

Our first stop will be Castellina in Chianti, where you will have free time to explore the town's churches and visit the castle known as La Rocca.

Next, we will visit a winery for a guided tour of its facilities and vineyards. You will learn about the preparation stages for Chianti wine, including the grapes Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Following the tour, there will be a tasting of Chianti wine, accompanied by Italian cured meats. Then we will proceed to a second winery to taste more varieties of Chianti Valley wine and some appetizers. Additionally, there will be a tasting of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Before returning to San Gimignano, we will stop at Monteriggioni, a medieval village. The tour lasts six hours before we drop you off at the meeting point in San Gimignano.
