Chianti Wine Tour

On our Chianti Wine Tour from San Gimignano, you will explore the Chianti Valley, enjoy vineyard landscapes, taste regional wines, and visit nearby villages.

Your tour begins with a pickup at Porta San Giovanni at the scheduled time. We will board a minibus to start our journey through the Chianti Valley.

Our first stop is Castellina in Chianti, where you will have free time to explore the town, including its churches and La Rocca castle.

Next, we will visit a winery for a guided tour of the facilities and vineyards, learning about the grapes used in Chianti wine, including Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Following the tour, a tasting of Chianti wine will be accompanied by Italian cured meats. We will then proceed to a second winery, where additional wine varieties and appetizers will be offered, along with a tasting of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Before concluding the tour, we will stop in Monteriggioni, a medieval village. After six hours of activities, we will return you to the drop-off point in San Gimignano.
