Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs Tour

If you're passionate about nature, this day trip from San José will take you to the Arenal Volcano. Afterwards, you can relax in the lush hot springs.

Arenal Volcano & Baldi Hot Springs Tour

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San José and depart for a natural area in Costa Rica.

First, we'll visit the town of Sarchí, known as the birthplace of Costa Rican handicrafts. After this stop, we'll drive through pineapple and mango plantations to the entrance of the Arenal Volcano National Park, near La Fortuna.

Here, we'll have lunch at a traditional restaurant featuring a menu with: beef, chicken or fish, vegetables, salad, rice and beans, pasta, vegetable stew, dessert, and local fruit juice.

While dining, we'll enjoy views of the volcano, which last erupted on July 29, 1968. It has since produced gases and steam, making it the most active volcano in Costa Rica.

Following lunch, we will relax in hot springs, which can be either Baldi or Ecotermales La Fortuna, based on your booking selection. These pools were created by the Arenal and are surrounded by tropical gardens. At the end of the day, we'll have dinner at Baldi.

After dinner, you'll return to your hotel in San José, arriving about 15 hours after pickup.
