Doka Coffee Plantation, Grecia & Sarchí Tour

You'll be picked up from your hotel in the morning and head to Hacienda Doka, one of the largest coffee plantations in Costa Rica. The "golden beans" grown here are considered among the best in the country. Enjoy a guided tour while ascending to 1,350 meters (4,429 feet) and learn about the coffee production process. Following this, a lunch featuring Costa Rican specialties will be served, including salad, rice and beans, meat, dessert, and a drink. After lunch, travel to Grecia, known for its coffee and sugarcane plantations and beautiful textiles. Explore the streets and visit the Church of Our Lady of Mercy, a neo-Gothic structure made entirely of steel plates. The tour continues to the Central Market for insights into local life.

The final stop will be Sarchí, the birthplace of Costa Rican craftwork, famous for Sarchí oxcarts, handcrafted from wood and decorated with colorful designs. Here, you'll see the biggest oxcart in the world, considered a national symbol. At the end of the day, return to your hotel in San Jose, approximately 8 hours later.
