Irazu Volcano, Orosi Valley, & Lankester Garden Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in San José and head to the province of Cartago, home to the Irazu Volcano. Along the route, we'll admire local flora and fauna.

The Irazu Volcano stands at 3,432 meters (11,259 feet) and is the most active volcano in Costa Rica. We will explore one of its craters and see a green lake with varying depth. Views of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans from the volcano are notable.

Next, we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels in Cartago before heading to the Lankester Gardens, which feature over 800 species of orchids and plants.

We will then enjoy a traditional Costa Rican meal, including rice, beans, salad, meat (chicken, fish, or pork), dessert, and a refreshing drink.

We will proceed to the Orosi and Ujarrás Valley, known for its mountainous scenery and coffee and sugar cane farms, which were significant during the colonial era and historical events.

Finally, we will return you to your hotel in San José after a total of 11.5 hours of adventure.
