La Paz Waterfall, Celeste River & Hot Springs Tour

Discover the most beautiful nooks of inland Costa Rica with this excursion to the La Paz waterfall, the Celeste River, and the hot springs of the Poás Volcano.

Description

Between 8 and 9 am, hotel pickup will occur, followed by a trip to the La Paz waterfall through the Sarapiqui Mountains. The waterfall, over 120 feet high, is surrounded by dense vegetation, offering opportunities to see tropical birds, endemic frogs, and butterflies.

After visiting the waterfall, the excursion continues to the pools of the Celeste River near Bajos del Toro. Participants will cross a suspension bridge and have access to turquoise lagoons, with the option to swim.

Next, a visit to the hot springs heated by the Poás Volcano follows, where lunch will be provided, including rice, beans, meat, and a drink. Post-lunch, there is an opportunity for swimming and relaxation before returning to San José.

The tour concludes with a return to hotels, arriving between 5 and 6 pm.
