La Paz Waterfall, Celeste River & Hot Springs Tour

Discover the most beautiful nooks of inland Costa Rica with this excursion to the La Paz waterfall, the Celeste River and the hot springs of the Poás Volcano – a trip you won't forget!

Description

Between 8 and 9 am, hotel pickup will commence as we drive to the La Paz waterfall through the Sarapiqui Mountains.

Upon arrival at this majestic waterfall, which stands over 120 feet high and is surrounded by dense vegetation, there will be opportunities for photography. Expect to see tropical birds, endemic frogs, and butterflies.

Next, we will continue towards the pools of the Celeste River, situated near the village of Bajos del Toro. Here, we will cross a suspension bridge and explore the beautiful turquoise lagoons. You have the option to take a refreshing swim.

Following this, we will visit hot springs heated by the Poás Volcano, where a delicious lunch of rice, beans, meat, and a drink will be provided. After lunch, there will be further opportunities to swim and relax before we head back to San José.

We will conclude the excursion with a return to your hotel, arriving between 5 and 6 pm.
