La Paz Waterfall, Celeste River & Hot Springs Tour

Discover the most beautiful nooks of inland Costa Rica with this excursion to the La Paz waterfall, the Celeste River, and the hot springs of the Poás Volcano.

Description

Between 8 and 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel and depart towards the La Paz waterfall through the Sarapiqui Mountains. This waterfall stands over 120 feet high and is surrounded by dense vegetation, offering opportunities to spot tropical birds, endemic frogs, and butterflies.

Next, we will continue towards the Celeste River pools near Bajos del Toro. Here, you will cross a suspension bridge and enjoy the turquoise lagoons, with the option to take a refreshing dip.

Then, we will visit the hot springs heated by the Poás Volcano, where you will be served a lunch that includes rice, beans, meat, and a drink. After lunch, you can take another swim and relax before returning to San José.

We will conclude the excursion with your return to the hotel, arriving between 5 and 6 pm.
