La Paz Waterfall, Celeste River & Hot Springs Tour

Discover the most beautiful nooks of inland Costa Rica with this excursion to the La Paz waterfall, the Celeste River, and the hot springs of the Poás Volcano.

Description

Between 8 and 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel and start our journey to the La Paz waterfall through the Sarapiqui Mountains. The waterfall stands over 120 feet high, surrounded by dense vegetation. You may see tropical birds, endemic frogs, and butterflies along the way.

Next, we will visit the pools of the Celeste River near the village of Bajos del Toro. We will cross a suspension bridge and enjoy the turquoise lagoons. Swimming in the water is available for a refreshing experience.

Following this, we'll visit the hot springs heated by the Poás Volcano, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch consisting of rice, beans, meat, and a drink. After lunch, more swimming and relaxation time is provided before we return to San José.

The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel, arriving between 5 and 6 pm.
