Pacuare River Rafting

After picking you up from your hotel in San José, we will head to Pacuare River. The tour offers breathtaking scenery with waterfalls, cataracts and trails, along with diverse fauna and flora.

First, there will be a safety talk. Then, we will navigate a thrilling 5-mile (8 km) route through some of the best rapids in Costa Rica. Once we arrive at Pacuare Valley, we'll embark on another 5-mile tour to observe local flora and fauna, potentially spotting white-faced monkeys, sloths, squirrels, hummingbirds and toucans.

After the adventure, a delicious traditional Costa Rican meal will be served, including rice, beans, salad, a choice of chicken, fish or pork, picadillo, plantain, and juice. A vegetarian or gluten-free menu can also be requested during booking.

The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in San José.

Hotel Pickup

The tour includes pickup and transfer back to the main hotels in San José. If your hotel is in a remote area, you will be informed of where to meet.
