Poas Volcano National Park Day Trip

Pickup will occur at your hotel in San José at 6:30 am, followed by travel along the Pan-American Highway to Poas Volcano National Park. We will pass through Alajuela, taking a panoramic route that includes sights such as the Monument to Agriculture, Monument to San Juan Santamaría, and Mango Park.

A delicious breakfast will be served, featuring traditional dishes like gallo pinto with egg, cheese, ripe plantain, yucca chorriada, tortilla aliñada, and gallos with meat, cheese, and picadillo.

Following breakfast, we will explore one of the most spectacular natural areas in Costa Rica, including a walk through coffee plantations and diverse vegetation. As we approach the volcano, you will feel a change in temperature. At the viewpoint, admire the impressive mile-wide crater.

We will return to the minibus and drop you off at your hotel in San José by 1 pm.
