San José Private Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San José to embark on a private tour of the capital of Costa Rica.

Our first stop will be at the National Museum of Costa Rica, which features one of the most significant collections in Central America. The permanent exhibition includes numerous pieces from pre-Columbian and colonial times, providing insight into the culture and history of the nation.

Next, we’ll visit the old control tower of La Sabana Airport, now home to the Museum of Costa Rican Art. Here, we will see works by prominent local artists, including Juan Manuel Sánchez Barrantes.

Your guide will then take you to the National Theater of Costa Rica and the Central Market, both cultural and culinary landmarks of San José. A visit to the National Monument of Costa Rica will follow, focusing on the history of Costa Ricans who resisted the invasion by American William Walker in the mid-19th century.

Lastly, we will explore the Edificio Metálico and the Municipal Arts & Crafts Market. After six hours of sightseeing, we’ll conclude the tour by returning to your hotel.
