Tour the monumental center of the Costa Rican capital with this private tour of San José. An exclusive route just for you and your partner, family, and friends!

San José Private Tour

At your selected time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San José for a private tour of the capital of Costa Rica.

Our first stop will be the National Museum of Costa Rica, featuring one of the most significant collections in Central America. The permanent exhibition showcases a variety of pieces from pre-Columbian and colonial periods, providing insight into the culture and history of the nation.

Next, we’ll visit the old control tower of La Sabana Airport, which is now home to the Museum of Costa Rican Art. Here, visitors can see works by notable local artists, including Juan Manuel Sánchez Barrantes.

Your guide will then take you to the National Theater of Costa Rica and the Central Market, cultural and culinary landmarks of San José. Following this, we'll visit the National Monument of Costa Rica to learn about the Costa Ricans' resistance against the American William Walker's invading troops in the mid-19th century.

Finally, we’ll admire the façade of the Edificio Metálico and visit the Municipal Arts & Crafts Market. After six hours of sightseeing, we’ll return you to your hotel.
