Tortuguero National Park 2 or 3-Day Tour

This 2- or 3-day tour of Tortuguero National Park invites you to immerse yourself in the diverse wildlife of Costa Rica, coupled with a stay in a unique jungle lodge.

Tour Overview

Day 1

We'll begin your journey with a timely pickup from your accommodation, embarking on a 2-day adventure in Tortuguero National Park, recognized as one of the most breathtaking destinations in Costa Rica.

Your first destination will be Guápiles, where we’ll enjoy a nourishing breakfast. Once we are re-energized, our next stop will be the La Pavona dock to board a boat for our ride along the Suerte River.

As we navigate the waters, you’ll be captivated by the scenic beauty of Costa Rican riverside nature. We will then merge with the Tortuguero River and arrive at the lodge, nestled deep within the jungle, around noon.

After unpacking and settling in, we will gather for a hearty lunch at the lodge restaurant. In the afternoon, you’ll venture into the village of Tortuguero to experience the charm and traditions of a Costa Rican jungle community and witness the bond between the locals and the turtles.

To conclude the day, we will return to the lodge for some leisure time followed by dinner.

Day 2

Post-breakfast, your exploration will continue in Tortuguero National Park, where you can uncover its natural wonders. From observing the to identifying the diverse flora and fauna, you'll experience the largest wetland in the country!

After our park excursion, we’ll head back to the lodge to rest and pack. At the pre-arranged time, we'll depart from the lodge and make our way back to the La Pavona dock.

Ultimately, you will be returned to your hotel around midday.

3-Day Tour Option

If you prefer to extend your stay for an additional night in Tortuguero, consider booking the 3-day tour. On the second day, following breakfast, another visit to Tortuguero National Park awaits.

Lunch will be served at the lodge, followed by a day filled with hiking along trails, through gardens and on local beaches. You'll relish the opportunity to connect deeply with nature!

On the third morning, after breakfast, we'll escort you back to your hotel, concluding your journey through Tortuguero National Park.

Accommodation Details

Your tour includes 1 or 2 nights of full board accommodation at the Laguna Lodge in Tortuguero. Note that if your reservation is for an odd number of guests, there will be an additional charge for a single room.
