Tortuguero National Park 2 or 3-Day Tour

On this 2 or 3-day tour of Tortuguero National Park, you'll explore the wild nature of Costa Rica and sleep in an exclusive jungle lodge.

Description

Day 1

At the appointed time, we will pick you up from your hotel for the 2-day tour of Tortuguero National Park. The first stop is Guápiles for breakfast. After breakfast, we will head to the La Pavona dock and board a boat for the Suerte River.

While sailing, we will enjoy views of the characteristic riverside nature. We will reach the Tortuguero River and arrive at the lodge by around 12:00 noon.

After settling in, we will have lunch before visiting the village of Tortuguero to experience a traditional Costa Rican jungle village. We will observe the inhabitants' connection with turtles.

We will then return to the lodge to relax and have dinner.

Day 2

In the morning, we will visit Tortuguero National Park to explore its natural attractions, from the turtle nesting beach to diverse flora and fauna.

After visiting the park, we will return to the hotel for breakfast. Then, we will leave the lodge and head back to the La Pavona dock.

Finally, we will drop you back to your hotel around midday.

3-day tour

For those wishing to spend an additional night in the lodge, a 3-day tour is available. After breakfast on the second day, we will visit the Tortuguero National Park again.

Lunch will be at the lodge, followed by a day of hiking through local trails, gardens, and beaches.

On the third day, after breakfast, we will return you to your hotel, concluding the tour.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 or 2 nights of full board accommodation at Laguna Lodge in Tortuguero. A supplement applies for single rooms if the reservation is for an odd number of people.

Departures are available from San José and Guápiles:

From San José: Pickup from your hotel between 5:30 and 6:45 am.From Guápiles: Pickup from Restaurante Senderos Río Blanco at 10:30 am.
