Tortuguero National Park 2 or 3-Day Tour

On this 2 or 3-day tour of Tortuguero National Park, you'll explore the wild nature of Costa Rica and sleep in an exclusive jungle lodge.

Description

Day 1

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel for a 2-day tour of Tortuguero National Park. The first stop is in Guápiles for breakfast, followed by a trip to La Pavona dock to board a boat along the Suerte River. We will enjoy views of the Costa Rican riverside nature. Upon arrival at the lodge around 12:00 noon, we will settle into our rooms.

After lunch, we will visit the village of Tortuguero to understand the essence of a Costa Rican jungle village and its relationship with turtles. We will return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 2

We will start early and head to Tortuguero National Park to explore natural attractions, including the turtle nesting beach and various flora and fauna within the largest wetland in the country. After a park visit, we will return to the lodge for breakfast and then depart for La Pavona dock. You will be dropped back at your hotel around midday.

3-day tour

For a longer experience, the 3-day tour includes an extra night at the lodge. After breakfast on the second day, we will revisit Tortuguero National Park, have lunch at the lodge, and hike through the area's trails, gardens, and beaches. On the third day, breakfast will precede your return to the hotel, concluding the tour.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 or 2 nights of full board accommodation at Laguna Lodge. A supplement applies for a single room if the reservation is for an odd number of people.
