Tortuguero National Park 2 or 3-Day Tour

On this 2 or 3-day tour of Tortuguero National Park, you will explore the wild nature of Costa Rica and stay at a jungle lodge.

Description

Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel and start the 2-day tour of Tortuguero National Park. Our first stop will be in Guápiles for breakfast. Following breakfast, we will proceed to La Pavona dock to board a boat and navigate the Suerte River.

As we travel, you will enjoy the views of the Costa Rican riverside. We will reach the Tortuguero River and arrive at the lodge around 12:00 noon to check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the village of Tortuguero, observing the connection between the locals and the turtles. We will return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 2

We will start the day early at Tortuguero National Park to explore its natural attractions, including the turtle nesting beach and various species of flora and fauna. After our park visit, we will return to the lodge for breakfast before leaving to head back to La Pavona dock.

We will conclude the tour by dropping you back at your hotel around midday.

3-day tour

The 3-day tour includes an additional night at the lodge. After breakfast on the second day, we will revisit Tortuguero National Park, enjoy lunch at the lodge, and hike through the area's trails, gardens, and beaches. On the third day, after breakfast, we will return you to your hotel.

Accommodation

The tour includes 1 or 2 nights of full board accommodation at Laguna Lodge in Tortuguero. A supplement for a single room will apply if the reservation is for an odd number of people.

The tour has departures from San José and Guápiles:

If you choose the San José option, pickup will be between 5:30 and 6:45 am.If you choose the Guápiles option, pickup will be at Restaurante Senderos Río Blanco at 10:30 am.
