Tortuguero National Park 2 or 3-Day Tour

On this 2 or 3-day tour of Tortuguero National Park, you'll explore the wild nature of Costa Rica and sleep in an exclusive jungle lodge.

Description

Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel and start a 2-day tour of Tortuguero National Park. Our first stop is in Guápiles for breakfast. Afterwards, we will go to the La Pavona dock to board a boat along the Suerte River.

We will enjoy views of the Costa Rican riverside as we sail, reaching the Tortuguero River and arriving at the lodge around 12:00 noon. After settling in, we will have lunch and visit the village of Tortuguero in the afternoon to learn about the local culture and its relationship with turtles.

We will return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 2

We will start early, heading to Tortuguero National Park to explore its attractions, including the turtle nesting beach and various species of flora and fauna. After the park visit, we will have breakfast at the lodge and then depart back to the La Pavona dock.

Finally, we will drop you back at your hotel around midday.

3-day tour

For a longer experience, you can book the 3-day tour. After breakfast on the second day, we will revisit Tortuguero National Park. We’ll have lunch at the lodge and go for hikes in the area. On the third day, after breakfast, we will take you back to your hotel.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 or 2 nights of full board accommodation at Laguna Lodge in Tortuguero. An additional charge applies for single room reservations for odd-numbered groups.
