Toucan Rescue Ranch Day Trip

At 12 pm we'll pick you up from your hotel in San José, hop on a minibus and set off for the Toucan Rescue Ranch. After a 30 minute drive, we'll arrive at this unique animal rescue centre. During the tour of the ranch, we'll learn to distinguish between different species and discover the history and mission of the organisation along with the programs they carry out to protect wild animals in Costa Rica. We'll see a variety of species that inhabit the centre, including macaws, owls, sloths, spider monkeys, weasels and more. At the end of the trip, we'll return to your hotels in San José by around 5 pm.
